My artistic practice explores the structures embedded within society and how their design shapes the human body and mind. I am particularly interested in memory—how it accumulates over time, gradually occupying more space within our consciousness and altering our perception of self and reality.
Working primarily on paper, I experiment with form and color while remaining attentive to the material’s sensitivity and limitations. My practice extends across installation, photography, moving image, sculpture, graphic work, and painting, allowing ideas to shift and transform between mediums. This movement between forms reflects my interest in the fluid boundary between the imagined and the tangible.
My work often carries a poetic and philosophical tone, drawing from intersections between poetry, science, and philosophy. These disciplines inform both my conceptual approach and my process, where each piece emerges as an exploration of perception, structure, and the invisible forces that shape our inner and outer worlds. - Masoud Shahsavari
Sometimes we live in each other’s memories without ever truly meeting.
